Did u extract the firmware before or after you flashed 'incompatible' firmware to it?

Just because the update utility says "update successful' doesn't mean it worked... especially if you put in the wrong firmware.
If you extracted 'before' you flashed it, just flash back your dump file.
If you extracted the firmware 'after' you flashed it there isn't much you can do except now try to find a firmware file that does work.. starting with the firmware in our download section

gyp_gyp , if your computer does not detect your player when you plug it into the USB, then you'll need to perform the Dead Player Recovery guide here http://www.mympxplayer.org/dead-player-recovery-guide-vt567.html

Next is to flash in the firmware when you get the player detected.

However, the question again, was the firmware extraction before you flashed the new firmware or after you flashed it?

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

From that it looks like it was 'after' it was flashed. Obviously with the wrong firmware.

gyp_gyp, what you will have to do is keep trying to find the 'correct' firmware in order for it to work with a proper display. The firmware currently in the player is very close but not close enough. Keep trying.
