Hi, guys,

I just got my player and it doesn't want to play XVID videos that I made with viDrop(mp2, 300kbs, bla bla bla). Although, it plays perfectly the XVID video that came with, and it uses the has the same params as above(I checkd with GSpot).

Not only that, I want to know what kind of chipset it uses.

chips set is rockchip

turn your video 90°... viDrop have this feature.
G-spot should show 240x320 instead of 320 x 240 for your bundled videos.

Your player looks like a Meizu M6 and act like it, Meizu plays videos turned 90°, but it's not a rockchip Smile

The menu... that's typical rockchip menu.

It's showing also the typical Information pop up of the firmware of your player of 1 Gb

No, it shows 320*240. Even when I play it on my comp, it's not flipped.

This is the G-spot of your bundled video really?

What message is giving you the player?

It just says "File formatting error" or something like that.

BTW, same thing with jpg files - it doesn't read files that have more than 72 dpi.

Sure, as soon as I get home in about 5 hours.

Could this happen because I use some nonstandard XVID codec on my computer?

It is so... I can't recall which Xvid doesn't work in my players either... but...
using viDrop it should work as this program it's a front end of MEncoder, which is the standard for conversion of Chinese players as it is AVIConverter that comes bundled in the player.

Thanks for your help! Everything works fine now since I made a video that is precisely 320*240.

Strange the fact that in viDrop, the add borders function doesn't add borders and it doesn't make the video 320. Or I just don't understand it correctly.

Anyway, here is a video that works:

Excellent video I will put it in my Onda VX858 to listen to it... I am not sure if I'll be able to discover some out-of-synch in that slow motion movie... out-of-synch will be your next problem. Laughing Laughing Laughing

Thanks, nice to know...

But I thought that the reason for this is slow memory cards. Or does it occur because of reduces fps?
