Anyway know if they sell hacked players? The prices are very good, to good to be true.

Their ebay feedback wasn't so good (some ppl had battery and other problems on their mp4) but not hacked memmory problems... (I haven't read the whole feedback tho)

Hmmm. Those prices are really low. Comparable to wholesale. I'd be extremely suspicious. Of course the only way to be sure is to buy one. Pick one of the cheaper (>$30) models so if you get burned it won't hurt too much...

p.s. They might make up on the price with outrageous shipping charges, you'll have to go through the ordering process to see that

Yes, prices seem to be too low. But I don't think that it's impossible to sell them for that price. Some members here (I'v seen 2 people) that said that they got genuine 4Gb players from Tinydeal direct. I would like to order one 1Gb or 2Gb, cant decide lol. They awnser to mails and so on, so they seem to be legit. Well hopefully they are.

Don't be suspicious (lol, you KNOW I had to post on a board about tinydealdirect. I'm a notorious supporter of them). I bought from them when they used to have a store on eBay with no problems, so I don't see why you should have any problems if you buy directly from their site. The way I see it, they can afford to charge less because they don't have to pay all the eBay listing and final value fees and are totally independent. Plus, they probably get the players for like $5 or something. They're making a profit regardless. So go ahead and buy an mp4 player from them. Amazing prices, and I still have all of the ones I bought from them (4 in total)

Now that I'm looking through their site, their prices ARE ridiculously low! A 4gb player for $42? Back in the day (last year), I could barely get a 1gb player for that. Looks a tad suspicious. I trust the company, but I'd contact them to verify the actual capacity and ask what enables them to sell for such a low price. Wow, their prices have really dropped!

Yes, that's what I'm talking about. They dont list more MP4s on their eBay acount. Maybe they sold genuine players first and now hacked ones? I really want to buy one, don't want to get a hacked one though xD (the prices make me droll lol)

As they awnser to mails, maybe I should mail them the link to this thread so they can post something that can verify that they only sell genuine players? or something like that. My idea is pretty stupid I guess. lol

It only has one review though so that's not much to go by.

If you are going to buy from them here is what I think you should do to try to cover yourself:

* Ask them straight up, why are their prices so cheap?

* Ask them if it's a true, geniune 4GB player.

* Ask them what their refund or replacement policy is. Will you have to pay for shipping to send it back if it's faulty or has hacked memory?

* Finally, mention to them about this site. Tell them that this site has about 18,000 dedicated members and that when you buy from them, you will be putting a review about Tiny Deal Direct on this site about the player.


Hopefully that will give you something to go back on. How will you be paying? Previously by credit because at least then you can back track it and claim a refund should you have any problems or not get the player.

I just figured out they are Tronfy Tech, they used to operate the Ebay Account red-vision which was selling hacked players. I don't know if they are very trustworthy....

The only bummer bit is the "you pay to send back the item to us" part, which could cost about $30-$50 on registered mail to China.

I bought an MP4 Player off ebay from the ebay user red-vision & the e-mails I received were from Tronfy Tech (I never went through with the sale since I found out they were selling hacked players). The weird thing is the e-mails I got yesterday say they are from Tonfy Tech (probably just a spelling error). Some pictures on there site are the exact same ones that were on red-vision's ebay auctions- I think ebay banned that account.

They might have changed there ways and are now selling legit quality players.

I might buy from them to see how good they are.

I never thought shipping to China from NZ was so expensive!

$30-$50 registered mail??!! I only paid about $3! Granted, I took a huge risk sending it in the smallest padded envelope possible without insurance - NOT RECOMMENDED, but when I asked my post office how much it would cost for a normal sized envelope with insurance, it was still a couple bucks less than $10. I would never pay more than that to have it shipped back. I don't know about other countries' rates, but I'm just sharing personal experience.

Also, administrators such as taddad had said that their were similarities in the Company name betweeen tinydealdirect and another eBay seller selling hacked players in the past (can't recall the name right now but I believe they have been put out of business.) There were never any other proven similarities than the company name. To put it bluntly: other members besides me have confirmed receiving nonhacked players from tinydealdirect and others who bought from the other seller received hacked players

Not trying to force anything on anyone; it's still your decision. I just wanted to clear some things up. Good luck, whatever you guys decide!
