I got a 4Gb mp4 player from eBay. I thought I was buying the "onda" as it looks identical but has no branding at all, here is the exact player I purchased:

I have taken some shots of it here:

I have been doing a bit of reading and from what I can gather this player uses the "rockwell" firmware? Anyway what I want to do is update the firmware to the latest version, can someone please show me how to do that?
Also I would like to know if it is genuine 4Gb as advertised. I tryed to follow this tutorial ...
http://www.mympxplayer.org/how-to-removing-memory-hack-vt2400.html but the problem I am having is at step 2 when switching to the Partition & Encryption tab I am unable to move ths slider at all and it just shows as 0Mb. I have however formated the player in windows xp using fat32 (as this is the only option) and the player indeed reads as 4Gb.
Thanks for your help guys, also it would be great to know what player I have ie, what make/model. I don't have a clue and it would be nice to visit the manufacturers site for more info, so if anyone knows how to get this info I would be very appreciative
One last thing I forgot to mention, how do I know the size that I need to convert video? I see that there are different sizes, eg is 220x176, what would be the best for a 2.8" screen?
