Firmware 3.5.37 Question

Nano Clone w/ MP4 Digital Player Under The Screen
3.5.35 Currently
ATJ2085W
HO621T
060520 A11 W
MP-693C-SL MAIN V1.3 2005.12.14

I wanna know if there is a way to get 3.5.37 to work on my player since every time i tried to upgrade it i got this message:

If your player is using firmware 3.5.35, I would really suggest you stay with it than trying to upgrade it to 3.5.37 instead. Luck for you you get an error message, others don't and get a 'dead player' instead.

All you have to do is read the "Dead Players" section of this forum to see what can happen to your player if you upgrade it with the wrong firmware.

The old saying "if it's not broken, don't fix it". It won't give you any new features that your player is capable of already so there is no real advantage in upgrading the firmware for that.

Have you tried to download another .37 than the one you have downloaded?

Weecho, I have only found one 3.5.37 that worked on my 1.5 LCD 3.5.35 Player, every other one I tried killed the player or left it with a blank screen.

The one version that updated had less features than my current 3.5.35 so I went back to it.

I have also found that a large percentage of firmware that is uploaded has not been repaired when extracted and will give this error message.

I couldn't resist and i kept trying to update it... And i'm truly amazed.. 3.5.37 is faster... it has the choice for dynamic and static menus... it has a progress bar for my music... it looks nicer worx faster... It only has 1 game tho... only one i actually ever used the Tetris one... Thank you Binh and Tadad1 for all your help.. now to try and skin this new firm.. Very Happy

PS: Any Skins For This Firm Tadad1??

Weecho, Sounds like the one I had success with. It has a very different image structure than the Lotus Flower type firmware that I have themed. As I never kept it I never got round to themeing it. Evolis2k2 has done some ipod\mac menus etc for this format firmware though and his tetris skin is quite cool.

So you've managed to update the firmware to 3.5.37 on your player and it works fine now?

If so, what firmware was it? Would be helpful to know and others to know too......

Yes I Managed To Upgrade It To This Firmware "dvs6000 with game fm voip.bin". In Case Anyone Does Try It... It Seems Like It Freezes The MP3 Upgrade Tool But Thats Not The Case It Just Takes Really Long To Load It... Another Thing Is That s1res Tool Doesn't Open It... Dont Fear After Its Been Flashed You Can Extract It From Your Player And Edit That Bin.. I Dont Know If You Would Like Me To Upload The Firmware admin Just Let Me Know...
