Hi everyone,

I'm a newbie to this forum. Few months back i bought an Ipod clone ( Black colour) from Ebay. It was working fine and in between it used to stop. From the forums here, i found out that mine was a hacked player which was showing 4GB capacity while its actual capacity was only 2GB. I formatted it actual "GB capacity with mp3 utilities & i did an update without reading the instructions, to a wrong version firmware. Now my player LCD screen is only lighting up and not showing any theme or icons. My player description is given below.

Ipod Nano Clone (Black Colour)
Memory - 4GB ( Actual memory 2GB)
Theme used: Water Lilly

Firmware: ACT_V3.5.37

ATJ 2085W
F5261AB 564

Samsung 622
K9WAG08U1A
PCB 0
FUD 933XS

I tried the CD which came along with the player. It has some weird directories (maybe in chinese). Inside that there was windows media player 9, dmvII_15.exe, ML6A_LB ( just 160kb file), Menu152_mlan.FNT ( 3072Kb file) and VDict.dit (31,914 KB file). None of them seem to be the firmware file.

I also tried several firmwares listed in this website and none of them seems to work. If anybody is having the firmware then please send it to a_smartboy8 [at] hotmail.com . Any help will be really appreciated..

Thanks In Advance
Smarty

Good day everyone,

I'm also new here.
I just bought a Ipod Nano Clone 2 days ago from China. During my first day, I experienced that the player couldn't use FM radio since it shown that "Hard error" and it's always turnoff and restart itself many times.
Then I decided to installed new firmware which I found from this website.

Before that I checked the firmware was 3.5.37 (wilson co., ltd.) then I did install the same version which I downloaded. Unfortunately, the result shown that the player became dead!! My PC didn't recognize it at all.

After I read some articles from the site. Then I did short circuit the player.
Right now, it is half alive.. since the windows knew it as a flash drive with 3.98GB capacity.

I came here to seek your help for the firmware... please ... I need your help.

The player info.
Ipod Nano clone 4.0GB - Black (before it cracked I also format it 2-3 times, however, it still show as 3.98 GB) But the info mentioned on the chip as HY27UF081G2A - from my understanding it should be 1GB?

Nand Falsh memory HY27UF081G2A
TPCB 644A
Actions ATJ2051H
M8TC0412Y1
Theme use: Flower

Anyone can help me out??

Hi,

I happened to see this post where the player listed is having same configuration as mine and a firmware was provided there.

http://www.mympxplayer.org/dump-file-v3537-df326.html

But when i installed that firmware on my ipod nano clone, the lcd is just lighting up and not showing any logo or themes. Does anyone have a firmware for the same specification ( listed in the beginning of this post)

Thanks in advance

NatsteR , the FM "hard error" likely indicates that there is physically no FM chip installed in the player, or the FM chip is damaged.

The Hynix HY27UF081G2A is a 1Gigabit (128MB) memory chip.

There are some ATJ2051 firmwares in the downloads section, but not much. Have a go at them.

a_smartboy8 , i've replied to your PM.

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

T39 doesn''t sound as good as my T29

lattesurf, thanks for your explanation.

I've gone to download section. But none of them can be used with my clone.
