If your PC recognize it as rockusb then you're close to solve it...
You are using Windows Vista really?... I don't know about Vista indeed.

Anyway use the latest firmware update from here [url=http://www.mympxplayer.org/rockchip-customer-update-firmware-update-df665.html]Firmware Update ex-Customr Update. It's version 3.1.2.0
And try again to install your firmware for VX858LE with this latest version
