Please help me...my mp4 cannot play videos! I can play the sample video for the first time when i bought it but when i shut off the mp4 and want to play it again it says FILE FORMAT ERROR! Sad . Got ANY GUIDE ???

Hi zedyll,

It's very suspecious that you can play the sample file fine the first time round but next time you get a "format error".

Generally the "format errors" are associated with either and incorrect video conversion or a HACKED PLAYER. If you say you can play the sample video fine the first time round, then it sounds like a HACKED player.

Try FORMATTING your player in Windows, otherwise follow this guide here --> How To: Removing Memory Hack.

Actually I think this is a case of video file format error since this is a Rockchip player.

Try using viDrop to convert the videos and make sure the resolution is set to 320x240 in viDrop.

btw these players can only play .avi type videos

well thanx to admin and knob for replying!! GOOD NEWS is i use ViDrop and it worked!! I fill up the memory with bunch of videos and music ( space left:800/1941MB ) means its not a HACKED PLAYER!

*But can you tell me how to change some theme or firmware inside my mp4 player?
