| I forgot to mention that the Rockchip chip is a RK2706. When you go into your system information it says the product name is RK27SDK. The actual chip is a Rockchip RK2706 tho. |

Hello!
I got this player (actually I have a 16gt version) yesterday. My system information says, that my product name is RK27SDK, Hardware ID is 080530 (differ from you) and Major version id is 1.2.
Is it possible, that this firmware* could be used to our players?

| I have just bought an MP5 player as you posted here. However, the touchscreen is not working. I tried the screen calibration tool but never see the OK button. I have 16GB instead. Can I use you firmware posted? If so, how? Thanks a lot. Amy. |

Hi.
I have used your firmware. However, the MP5 now always go to "Calibration" mode. I click the screen for a long time, but never see OK button. How do I finish the screen calibration? Thank. |

amyjohnson i sure hope you backed up your firmware. It could be a firmware issue or a touchscreen issue. I just tried my calibration and it works fine for me. Just make sure you hit the + where it is located on the screen.
NOTE TO ALL: Backup your firmware before you install a new firmware on it. |
