ConsumerUpdate 2.7.6 and Firmware for Rockchip 220x176 only..
PLEASE only use this if you have a player with a DEAD screen.
PLEASE DON'T use on a player that is fully working.
This is the ConsumerUpdate that came on the CD with MY player.
I used this to recover my player from a blank screen, the firmware I used is included also.
It defaults to Hebrew language, European languages are in it too, you just have to navigate the Hebrew menu to get to them.
English is the 3rd language from the very top of the list, to select a langauge I had to press the play button.
If you have a blank screen this is how I get to the upgrade option on my RockChip player "blind":
1. Switch player on wait for it to boot up to get to the main menu.
2. Press the down key 8 times to get to the settings icon.
3. Press the menu or select button to go into the settings menu.
4. Press the down key 4 times to get to the system option.
5. Press the menu or select button to go into the system menu.
6. Press the down key 1 time to get to the upgrade option.
7. Finally press the menu or select button to go into the upgrade option.
Then Connect the USB and use ConsumerUpdate.

Knob is definitely the wrong username for this chap... i revived my player after his help... THANK U!!
It would be really nice if the KNOBS who are positing firmwares also post the pictures of the damn players so ppl dont screw up
