This is a clean copy of the firmware partition for this player from TinyDeal.

To recover your player (ONLY if its DEAD) copy the enclosed rkusb.tag file to the player main memory and then disconnect and then reconnect to your PC.
This should expose the hidden firmware partition (60Mb) which you can format (FAT) and copy all the 4 required firmware folders and then restart your player.

I had to do this as my player died when I tried to change the display brightness option.
