Hi,

here's my story.
I bought a player on ebay. Exactly the same as here
http://www.mympxplayer.org/rockchip-firmware-mp5-rk2706-version-219-df895.html

It froze so I switched it off. Now it won't switch on.
The screen is blank.
It is detected by pc.
I can see the large partition.
Luckily I copied the firmware Smile
Bad news is that I can't upload the firmware back to the player as I don't see the hidden partition anymore Sad

I downloaded all the tools available here and I am stuck Sad

I really hope you can help me to solve this issue and bring my player back to life Smile

Could anyone guide me in the right direction please.
Many thanks in advance.

hi

sorry, i saw this a couple of days ago but forgot to post

have you sorted it yet

there maybe a way to get t back .. will be a way

are you on an xp machine
download these files
http://www.mp4nation.net/downloads/sflo/SFLOUPGRADEKIT.rar

now this is all for another player but what we need to do is get the partition active again, once doe we can copy back your originals

there is a small program in the download called RK27DM.exe, run it and then connect the player, it should recognise it, if so the button with and underscored U will light up,
click the file browser button and select the tl50.rkw file in the download
click the button with the U ont it
now several popups will popup, click Y on all
now during this you may be asked for drivers, point windows to the drivers in the download and use them,

all being well it will recreate the partition with the firmware chosen
now load the teclast.sys file onto the main memory and reconnect the player, partition shuld show up, now copy back your original files

sorry this is rushed, post if its all gibberish
