I don't have this player but I believe it has a reset hole at the bottom, have you tried this? |

can you tell us from your player if your player is rockchip or ingenics (will say on the chip in center)
if its rockchip IT IS NOT onda player but badly made clone player with dodgy and bad build |

can you please explain what you did exactly
what firmware did you actuallty try on this player and what tools used
this player should be a new rockchip player and no tools are needed for upgrades, i will upload a firmware as soon as i can and we will try to recover this |

I had uploadet it with the UpdateTool 3.x.
I used Windows Vista.
The UpdateTool found the player.
But when I tried to upload another firmware it says, that there is no player connected. |

what drives do you see when the player is plugged in
and do you have a windows computer you can use, vista is not good with many Chinese players
if the tool did not see the player HOW did you load another firmware on it
i am a little confused as to what has been done and how you did it, did the player EVER work
hang on, are you sure th is a vx747 style player and not a vx858 style player
like this (vx747)
http://images.amazon.cn/m/md_rbit520010.jpg
or this:(vx858)
http://www.2dayblog.com/images/2007/july/onda_vx858_1.jpg
and with the player open can you find the chip that says rockchip and tell me the number on it thanks |

This looks like the player.
But the icons "photo" and "record" is not the same.
The other thinks are the same.
I can start the player but only till the menu.
I canīt select any icon.
If I plug in the player via a USB-cable it appears as a removable storage.
The player shows the USB-Mode-screen.
Here is a picture from the USB-screen:

right
now this is where i am confused as this is a onda vx858 player and not what you descried, i was working on the fact that this was a vx747 clone player with rockchip
well first off never ipdate these payer - whoops you already have, now we have a ig problem as there is no way to get or find the right firmware - NEVER update these players to anyone watching this
can you change also the title of the thread and replace it with vx858
now we have a problem - finding a firmware and short circuting the player to get it in upgrade mode
read the following guide
http://www.mympxplayer.org/rockchip-dead-player-recovery-guide-vt6686.html?highlight=dead+rockchip
and then jsut try as many different firmware as you can, i am little help here as these players are so hard to mend after wrong upgrades
look here for some firmwares to try
http://www.mp4nation.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=2139
sorry, i cant help much here now i know its not what i thought it was |
