why when I'm trying to upload the software the upgrade tool is telling me that is downloading from mp3 player? I only need to upload. the download is getting stuck when started
why? any help?

The tool was just worded like that.

"Download" actually means it's updating the MP4 player's firmware. It's just worded in a confusing way.

If your MP4 player is still working normally, I advise not to try a firmware upgrade due to the high chances of bricking your MP4 player.

I hope the 3rd gen iPod nano clone firmware I posted yesterday will help at least a few people unbrick their bricked 3rd gen iPod clones.

It seems that the player needs LSD_91N000H_A1 firmware. Does anybody have this one?

so l have a bricked ipod clone
with the chip 'ak 1025'
that lead me to this forum

l tried to put too much music on it
(package claims 8 gigs)(only hold less than 1)
over wrote the firmware and bricked it

so it tries to boot up... but gets only teh hour glass
