yesh , there are very limited v9.1.50 firmwares, as the extraction tool only supports upto v9.0.43 at the moment.

what i can suggest is to try all the v9.xx series firmwares here http://www.mympxplayer.org/actions-9xx-firwmare-dc37.html

If they do not work, try contacting your seller and see if they have the firmware to send to you. Also search the CD that came with your player, sometimes it is inside. It should be in .fw or .bin format.

I already tried all the 9.0.xx firmwares, but not any of them worked with my player, I also tried all "MP3 Player Utilities" versions. On the CD, there are no Firmware files, I'll ask my seller for the new firmware.

thanks for "help" Wink

otahom , when you play music files, does it also stop after 5seconds?

It might be a problem with your amv encoding.

Shorty... it's because the software you are using cannot extract version 9.0.48.

You have to wait for a new version of s1fwx to be written before you can do that

Honestly.. i haven't a clue when it'll be released. I do know that new version is currently under development and i believe tadad1 is testing/playing with a kind of 'beta' of it now.

No absolutely not. Don't even think about trying a different version of firmware. It will guarantee a dead player.

Shorty.. sorry.. i didn't know your player was already 'dead'.

Actually it is unlikely that a different version will work. If it is already 'dead' then you can try the "Dead Player recovery' tutorial and download the 9.0.48 version from the download section. Remember to follow it step by step.

Also this version is only for a dead player. If your mp4 works fine, don't use it.

Yes I have 2 players, one is dead and i know how to get it in recover mode, but no firmware was working till now.

may you ask "tadad1" if i can get this test beta version?

i´m new here and i cant find him

I´m also not sure if the second dead one has the same fw inside before,
maybe it was anything like 3.5.3.7

do you know if there is any possibility to find out whats the right version for that player?

Sorry i don't know what versions are used with various players. I wouldn't recommend trying the new software that tadad1 is using as he's reported several 'problems' with it and it seems it's not doing what it's supposed to do. All i can suggest is try a few different versions and see what happens. Always keep to the recovery tutorial... shorting out the pins on the chip after an unsuccessful update etc.
