The problem is that I can't hear Mp3 files I can see and hear amv files because when I try to enter in music menu the iniliziation fails.
There is the hourglass but doesn't enter in the music menu and after 5 sec returns to main menu.
This problem is only for music menu, every other menu works properly

Zanco,

Try FORMATTING your player.
Format it through Windows or using the MP3 Format Tool as part of MP3 Player Utilities.

See if that fixes the problem.

Zanco , good on ya!
You might want to upload the firmware to the downloads section, so that others can download it to recover their players.
Upload link is Here.
Include the webpage of the player you have into the description, so that it'll be easier for people to identify their players.
Thanks! Very Happy

I have a new full metal platinum and it is very slow and arduous to access the music folders (not helped by a dodgy MENU button). Also when I try to select a music folder to play, it doesn't play it but goes back to the track it was on before going into the folders. I wonder if this might help or if it would just risk crashing my player.

I wouldn't recommend these platinums to anyone to be honest. I hope uxcell's other products are better.

I have a Glacier that has the same problem with the music folders. I have found that to get to different folders after selecting the folders menu hit the >> befor it loads and it will jump down one folder after they load but will remain in the folders dir.

HI, Yes I have the same problem with my Super i Plat 2 G Player!!
I a m not really happy with it as it will take a lot of effort to get this thing up to scratch. Particularly the firmware, its so god damned Chinese Shocked
The battery is sh## Evil or Very Mad a dodgy 180mAh which lasts half an album and then need to recharge, i want to at least get one of the 330mAh versions
The Uxcell site for the Super i Plat is not showing that the screen is sideways and the click wheel is as well, which is a huge pain in the frelling arse!

otherwise it is an mp3/4 player that works??????............................................................ Crying or Very sad

Cheers

Hi BetaBoy,

As far as I know, to extract the FW I need a new version of the extraction software that does not exist yet, apparantly the FW dump will be corrupt, if I try it with the current version, until the guy who invented the software updates it for FW 9.0.48 and above (newest FW types) YES it BLOWS!! Crying or Very sad I am so wanting to fix the issues that are so obviously FW problems and trick up the themes and images, Like a lot of other people with our FW
we are to wait a little longer until the new version is available!!

Sorry for any disapointment

Joffa
