i have this mp4, but when i connect it to pc i can't open the drive. it always want to be formated, but it cant.

I got this one for 50 bucks off Ebay, 4 gigs of music with SD card slot for a few more gigs (I've read it only supports up to the 2 GB card, haven't tried it yet)...
To sync with PC, just to go "update firmware" before connecting the unit to the PC's USB (and you might need another mini cord, the one that came with mine was bad) and then when you connect, the Mp4 player should show an image of a PC rather than the battery image. Windows XP automatically got the driver, etc, detected as mass storage. |

| hi, i have one of these. works quite well. was wondering if anybody out there has used the mini sd slot. i purchased a NON-SDHC 4gb card and the player didn't like it at all. The ebay supplier guaranteed me that it would take a 4gb card as long it was not SDHC. |

this is the one my sister bought
ive been trying to figure how to transfer
the correct video
ive used avi or amv format
but it recognizes avi in the list but doesnt play it
i keep getting warning: file format error |

| you should have received a disk with a avi converter software on it so you can convert you files over to the correct format |

to put a video on it you have convert your video avi but make sure your convertor makes 320x340 in resolution.You can use avi convertor . Download from supertalent.com

| i forgot to say, when you get to the homepage of supertalent.com click on support and go down to driver download. When the new page appears scroll down untill you see Firmware for VIDEGO28 under this heading you will get the download for avi convertor |

I just bought one of these things. 8GB Samsung flash memory with a slot that takes a mini-SD card up to 4GB. The firmware update program on the mini-CD that came with it says:
Device Name: S1 Mp3 Player

I'm not impressed. Flaky touch screen response and it randomly stops playing at the end of a song before playing all of the songs in a folder. |
