How to remove memory hack from USB Flash Drive?

Some other might be also looking for this answer. I know this is related to MPx player but Im wondering if flash memory is not related to USB Flash.

I got some hacked USB drive and I would like to remove the Memory hack to make them work properly at there initial memory size.

Could someone help plz ? This would be much appreciated and might help some other too.

ps: i try to use the Mp3 player tool but he says theres no players, I wonder if there not an other util or dos format parameter I could use.

And no changment with all

With MP3 Utilities Disk Tool i can see i have 4Go (real) and i can't remove memory hack

HP Format Tool just format and don't remove the memory hacked

my usb has iCreate controller chip. Therefore, I used iFormat utility. after finding out that its capacity is 4GB, I used iFormat version 1.32 to format it. At the end, I succeded to format it and now I have a 3.5 GB (not 4GB) usb altnough I bid for a 8GB Smile

First you have to know the controller chip type. There may be some utilities if you can not open it.

Me have a USB Flash hacked 8Gb and 4Gb real

I use the utilities what i upload and now i have 4Gb and no problem with my USB Flash (before i have bug when i save file in this)

this is a nice one to remove memory hack from many type of controllers. specially I have tried it with mxt6208a 115h000lf controller and memory, my systems recognizes that as ameco falsh drive fake 8 GB Named as kingston but it was fixed to its real 512 MB. but completely usable.

I hope that you might be able to help me I got a problem with trying to remove a memory hack from USB Flash Drive with no luck I have tried so many programs wit no luck the only one that looks like it would do any thing is this thing http://rapidshare.com/files/135322467/MPTool-2007103-Fix-Usb-key.zip.html but it does not seem to be communicating with the usb bus apart from when program starts then it just does not flash anything Sad

This is the chip in my Flash drive SAMSUNG 834 K9G8G08UOB PCBO. All I need is to find a way to re flash the drive geometry Sad
