This is a simple guide would partially solve the playlist problems that many nano-clone/chi-pod users would have already faced. This is rather useful for albums with non-stop tracks.

This guide does not create playlists, but rather manipulating the Windows Copy/Paste function.

The Problem
Songs copied into the player does not play in alphabetical order.
But plays in the order of time copied in.
Let's say you have an album that you wish to copy into your player, and you want it to play in order on your player.
Since the player plays files in order of the time copied it, you can copy and paste individual files in the order you want.
But it is not very efficient and with the slow USB transfer speed, it would take ages to copy an album with 20 tracks on it.

Step 1
Browse to the folder containing the music tracks that you wish to copy to your player.
And click on the first track in the list, as shown below.
View the files in List format, it would make your life much easier.

Now, Press and Hold the Shift key, and select the last track to be copied with your mouse.
You will notice that the last track you selected has a dotted box around it.
You can copy partial or full album, it is upto you. In this guide, it was choosen to be tracks 1 to 6 for ease.

Next, Right Click on the First track, and select Copy.
Ensure that now the dotted box is around the first track. This is very important as Windows would first copy the file with the dotted box, followed by the next file below it.

Step 2
Now that the files are copied, connect your player and create a new folder to store the songs.
Right Click in the new folder and select Paste to copy all the selected files in Step 1 to your player.

Once all selected tracks are copied over, do a simple check to ensure that files are copied in order.
Right click on the first track and select Properties.
Check the time under the Created section.

Next, right click on the second track and select Properties also, and check again the time under the Created section.

You will notice that the time is earlier in the first track and later in the second track.
You can also do the same for all the rest of the tracks, but is not necessary.

Step 3
Play the newly created folder with the copied tracks on your player. They should now play in the order of 1 to 6 (or in the order you select them).

Feel free to reply any questions/problems that you might have.

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.
