I purchased a 2GB Glacier on Dec.1 from Uxcell directly(Order ID: ORD20061200683). The player was shipped on Dec.18. The player was great until I put 1.5GB MP3 files on it. When I start playing the files added later on, it shows "format error".

I have read some of the thread saying the same problem happens on other players from Uxcell. Any one else got a similar problem?

Quiz,

Try formatting your player.

There could be a slight 'corruption' in the memory chip or particular sectors of the memory chip might be corrupt. Generally a format fixes these issuse.

Try that and let me know of the result.

some people forget that some players can't have more than 99 items in the same folder.

i thought my osmium player had hacked memory bc it didn't take a full 2gb of music, turns out it was just the limitation of the firmware. I read the manual in it's broken english and the player is now happily stuffed to 2gb Very Happy

still waiting for a replacement battery though...
