Please leave a comment about this firmware if you've used it. I would like to know the results.
Thankyou!

Biodrome,
No, it wasn't 'extracted' using any utility. That firmware is complete and was obtained from the manufacturer (UXcell) and is easily edited/themed using s1res v2.1
Any version of firmware can be edited with s1res as long as it is complete and working.
Unfortunately s1clone does not produce a complete firmware file, just a dump of a players entire flash chip. |

You can only use this fw as an 'upgrade' ONLY IF you own a UXcell Full Metal Platinum 1.5
If your MP4 works... don't flash it's firmware. |

| danielcoleiro, YES we know all about s1clone already. However the resulting file is far to large to store on here and will only be compatible with an identical player. |

I have a fake iPod and the ATJ2093H circuit with a SAMSUNG 710; K9LAG08U0M (or is it K9LAGO8UOM? They look like the 0 in 710 anyway) PCB0 (or PCBO).
The player was locked in blue-screen mode with that hour glass (someone called it a sand watch, which is a nice word as well... ).
This was the only firmware I got the program to flash entirely, while flashing the screen turned white instead and after restarting the player the screen goes white for a few seconds, then flashes to black (turns off) for a second and back to white. After a few more seconds there's snow on screen for about a second, not just black and white but in color (like static on the TV when there's no reception) then back to white and nothing more...
If I shut it off and turn it off again it's the same behaviour except for the static part - that never shows.
Perhaps I need to find another flavour of 9.0.50 as this has a 1.8 inch screen (about 44 mm diagonal) |
