Found a company that supplies software for RockChip players

I was criusin' around the net and came accross this company's Web Page (all in Chinese of course) called DEC. The have several models and some software (located here) for the RockChip players.

Just installed and ran the Rockchip firmware upgrader - the program crashed and quit. Oh, well, it seems that the program doesn't extract the firmware, only loads it Sad
