Firmware dump file extracted before i did any changes to the player.
Player has 10 menus (Music, Rec, Rec Player, FM, Text, Pic, Phonebook, Games, Movie, Sys Tools).
After flashing with this firmware, settings will be factory reset to Chinese language.
To change to "English"
1) Press left or right to the Sys Tools menu denoted by the 2 gears rotating.
2) Press Menu
3) Press Right arrow TWICE to highlight 3rd choice in the list.
4) Press Menu
5) Press Right arrow ONCE to highlight 2nd choice in the list.
6) Press Menu and English is selected.

HatNet , it would be helpful if you could enter your player details (Processor, Memory, FM, LCD, etc) in here. So that others can use it as a reference when they are trying to recover their players.

Hi,
I have a ipod nano clone with the same chips and i tried to recover it using the firmware given here. But unfortunately it is not working. The LCD is just lighting up and no Icon or theme is showing after that. can you please post the latest firmware to a_smartboy8 [ at ] hotmail.com
