You can use s1res to change the firmware you have extracted with s1fwx. Open the firmware file using S1res to modify the images and the text used by your MP4 players.
Please visit s1mp3.org for more details.
Note: Make backup of the firmware file firstly before making changes to it. You MUST read the guide and know what you're doing before using.
Instructions on how to use the s1res tool to edit your firmware, look at the Knowledge Base here.

hey there,
i just started using this and was amazed that it seems to provide the ability to change more than with the previous version.
not graphics as much, but text. you know that lame "Initializing..." you get when you turn on the player, i have now replaced that with "Please wait..." on mine.
did anyone else notice any other improvements?
check it out!

I didn't pick up on that! I hate that "Initializing" word and always wanted to change that! Cool. Good spotting. |
