This is the ASF Converter which can be used to convert files to .ASF format. Certain media players (generally not mpx players) will only read .ASF video files instead of .AMV or .MTV files.
This file is also known as the "Sunplus PMP Transcoding" tool.

For anyone who download this file please be advised that it contains a second compressed file called - "aspi32.exe"
You do NOT need the file - "aspi32.exe" to perform video file conversion to .ASF video format so you can just ignore this file. All the files you need to perform the video conversion are in the sub-directory - Setup, which are also compressed in to this download.
In case you are wondering what the file - "aspi32.exe" is for, it is Adaptec ASPI-32, version 4.60 upgrade for Advanced SCSI Programming Interface, which was released on April 23, 1999. So, unless you have a SCSI CD-ROM Drive running under Windows 95/98 or NT 3.0 (or earlier), then you will have no use for this program.  |
