If you have an MP3/MP4 player that supports .AMV video playback, then you will need the following tool to convert your videos to a .AMV file so it will be played on your player.
This version can now includes the following resolutions:
96X64(0;16;0)
128X96(0;16;0)
128X128(0;16;0)
160X120(0;16;0)
176X128(0;16;0)
176X144(0;12;0)
192X160(0;12;0)
208X120(0;12;0)
208X160(0;10;0)
208X176(0;10;0)
Instructions on how to convert to an .AMV file can be found here.
Instructions on how to update the firmware of your MP3/MP4 player using the MP3 Player Upgrade Tool can be found here.
Note: You need to have at least DirectX 9.0 and Windows Media Player 10 (or higher) as well as neccessary CODECS installed beforehand.
You can download the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack from here.

You will also need to have 7-zip to decompress the file. |

I tried to convert some video files to amv using amv converter v.3.3 128x128 it crashes after convertin 1%. What can I do? If i use an older converter it has no 128x128 resolution or others (older ones) do not center the image or cut edges if I turn 90 degrees the video.

| OK, I have downloaded the file twice now and still cannot unzip it. I deleted all the crap from the end of it and added .zip but Winzip cannot read it. Thanks for any help provided. |

I unzipped and downloaded the setup. Then, i get an error message stating, "Setup can not find .msi file! Stop install."
What does this mean?
Please help me. |

You need to download 7-zip to unzip it (I have updated the download to link the link there now). Make sure you decompress it into a folder somewhere (even on Desktop is fine). From there, run the setup.exe. It should work then. |

If i use "normal" mode it converts ok, but when i want to turn the video using "Deasil 90" or "Anticlockwise 90" Amv converter crashes
I'm asking this question second time, because it was ignored by admin.

 plz plz help me, i want to convert to amv, i have used 3.68 and 4.15 they both give me 128x96 screen size,BUT i have successfully converted some video files no problem, but all of a sudden i am coming across and error message when trying to play or convert i have tried converting, avi/mp4 and 3gp but the same movie in all formats comes up with error, can anyone help plz plz plz PS the videos play fine on my pc are all complete!!!  |

Hey Guest,
I think I my have found an answer to your problem. I dunno if it works with the other versions of the AVI converter but i'm just sharing ou this becus I think I feel the need to give thanks to the Admnitrators of MyMpxplayer for becoming a resource hub for this wonderful tool.
Here it is...
1.) After Downloading the File from MyMPXplayer.com and saving this file on your computer's memory (let's say "My Documents" for example) open the file. You shouldn't have any problems opening the file if you alrady have WinRAR installed on your computer.
2.) Now, on the list of files, you should be able to find a .zip file in the list named as MSI.CAB. You have to extract this file and place it anywhere in your computer. For the purposes of this walkthough, just extract it on your Desktop for easy access.
3.) Next, Go to Start (for XP) or the Vista pearl (for Vista users), click on Run, and type in %temp% on the open bar and click on Open. You should be able to file that it opens a window named Temp.
4.) All you gotta do afterwards, is to cut and paste this MSI.CAB zip file anywhere on the Temp window.
5.) You'll be surprised to find that if you try to run Setup.exe again, you wouldn't find any trouble installing the software. If it does'nt, try running the file named as Msien.msi instead of Setup.exe. I know I was when I discovered this.
6.) Enjoy. 
Of course, you'll have to keep in mind that you have to download and install the necessary codecs for this tool to work properly like 7zip and K-lite.

as without i would not be able to play videos in my Zebronics mupic PMP
I like the software
I would request if you could give the resolution of
220 X 176 and
220 X 165 (4:3)
as my screen resolution supported is 220 X 176 2.0 inch
