the radio shouls be a separate tiny board mounted above the audio jacks in the front, so you need to remove the pcb to be for sure.

Above input jack is empty space for ship. So the radio was never installed. Evil or Very Mad

I just bought one like yours in China. I 'pushed' a 2G file to it and was OK. The Hynix chipset is the same as yours. So how to test it to be a 128mb.

I'll try to find out the procedures for upgrading the firmware for you. What is the main screen of your MP3 looks like.

Well if player is working just use it. If you want to play around with diffrents firmwares make sure you have backup.

If ships are same it is then 128mb but the firmware is hacked to show something else.

My firmware was "flowery". Something like this: http://www.mympxplayer.org/dload.php?action=file&file_id=280

I recovered my player with another firmware and now it shows the real capasity 128 mb.

Well I would like to have the original firmware back so I can put more files to player.

There was something weird in the original firmware because I was able to put much more than 128 mb to the player. Well it took a while.

Could there have been some kind of integrated packing application in the original firmware Question
