Bargain price, decent player. Earphones quite rubbish unsurprisingly though and uses 2.5mm. Can anyone recommend some good quality replacement 2.5mm jack in-ear type earphones?
I can upload firmare if anyone is interested. Great site btw.

earthwormjim,
Thanks for uploading the photo of your player! Yes, if you can upload the firmware with a description of what is on the main menu, that would help a lot. Thanks.

Hi, I have a similar player, however when browsing through the songs on the player I have to browse through one-by-one. Is this the same for yours? If it isn't is yours easy to browse through the songs? And are you able to upload the firmware from it? Thanks heaps!!!

Hello there,
I had one like this before...
and mp3dude, yes, unfourtunately you will have to continue browsing songs one-by-one...I donīt know if a feature like the real nano has exists in an unbranded player...
One suggestion, and I donīt know if it is possible, is to try to develop a small list with some various songs per screen....
Does anyone know how to do this?
is it possible?

Thanks
guivarrichio Wink

You won't find any quality 2.5mm plug headphones. Unfortunately, you'll have to find an adaptor like this one on Ebay.

That's the main reason I decided to let my friend have my recently purchased 1.5" chiPod (with 2.5mm jack) and get a newer 1.8" with standard 3.5mm jack as a replacement at the same price.

"You won't find any quality 2.5mm plug headphones"

here in canada radioshack /aka. the source/ sells them for about 4 bucks. you can also buy the regular 2.5mm jacks and resolder it yourself.
my 2 cents Smile
